I was first inspired to try improving my cooking skills after moving out of my parents place in August 2013. It was am ambitious move, and I went from home-cooked meals to eating out often. I received a housewarming gift shortly after - a Martha Stewart Cookbook of everyday recipes from Entrees, Appetizers, Side Dishes and Desserts. I tackled the recipes one-by-one and found myself sharing the results with friends and family.
