Mascarpone Frosting

Adapted from Martha Stewart's Mascarpone Frosting Recipe.



Ingredients



  • 1 cup heavy cream (approximately 38% fat, I opted for whipping cream which is 35% fat because I couldn't find any heavier creams in stores)
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup confectioner's sugar

Instructions


1. Whisk heavy cream until fluffy.
2. In a separate bowl mix together mascarpone and confectioner's sugar until well combined
3. Fold both mixtures together until smooth.

Ice on your cupcakes, this pairs nicely with Tiramisu.
